You want to feel your best. You want people to accept you for who you are. But somehow you feel that your height is not a reflection of your true self.  Well, you do not have to feel this way; there are stretches that can help you to grow taller fast by a few inches.

These grow taller stretches can help in the secretion of the human growth hormone, also known as HGH. This hormone strengthens the cartilage between the bones. In order for these stretches to work in getting you to grow taller, you will need to put in dedication and work. This is not an overnight process. 

Just like any other type of regime, you will want to set up some sort of schedule. So why not start out with doing these stretching exercises five to six times a week; about once or twice a day. 

These stretches are not very complicated, but it is always best to get your doctors opinion before beginning any type of stretching exercises and always follow the instructions on how to perform these exercises the right way. 

One of the best ways to employ stretching exercise is through Yoga. Not only is Yoga good for providing grow taller stretches, but Yoga has a way of filtering in good energy while filtering out bad energy. So not only could you grow a few inches taller but you will also feel energized at the same time.  

Other stretching exercises that you could try are: 

1. The Cat Stretch: For this stretch, imagine of yourself as a cat. Get down on both hands and knees; and bring your inner torso in and out, rounding out your spine as you perform the stretch. 

2. Shoulder Shrugs: This is pretty straight forward. You can do this either standing or sitting down. It is a basic motion of shrugging the shoulders. 

3. Wall Stretch: This is another pretty straight forward stretch. As you are standing against a wall, reach out as far as you can, while standing on your toes. 

4. Cobra: Place your hands shoulder length apart while laying face down. Arch your back as you bring up your chin. 

5. Basic Leg Stretch: This is a basic leg stretch where you sit with your legs spread apart and stretch from one side to another. 

These are just some of the stretches one could try to increase one’s height. If you do a simple search on the Internet, like “cobra stretch” you should be able to bring pictures and directions on how to perform the stretches properly.  

As you can see, there are grow taller stretches that will not only help you in gaining inches but will also help in other areas of your health and wellbeing. Not to mention, that it will definitely assist with giving you a more aligned look by straightening your posture.

    In science class we’re learning about skeletons, and the other day we were talking about cartilage. He said that dancers and circus contortionists were able to stretch their cartilage over time to become more flexible. My goal is to be slim, flexible, and as tall as possible. Does stretching your cartilage through yoga and such actually make you taller? I don’t mean like an inch taller, maybe just a millimeter or two, because I mean would that extend your bones slightly?

    Haha… no. That’s genetically impossible. However, you will become slimmer and stretching is good excercise for your bones and muscles.

    dose anyone know of any stretches that can make you taller?
    im 18 and 5’7” but i have scoliosis and should be at least 5’10”. its not bad enough for me to get a brace or surgery, but i know there is stretches out there that can lengthen your spine. except you have to pay money for them. or if anyone knows and good stretches to straighten my spine.

    you will grow as tall as the genes you inherited allow you. nothing will help you grow taller than that. you might grow a couple more inches, but maybe not. 5’8 is a good height.

    im 15 going on 16. im barely 5’3. i want to get taller, not like super super tall but maybe just a few inches. even 1 inch would be cool haha. the boys in my family are pretty tall. i have uncles over 6 feet on my moms side. on my dads side, theyre like 5’11. my mom is 5’1 tho, and all the girls in my family are pretty short. the tallest girl is about 5’6. is there any chance i might still be growing? can i help my body grow more with stretches? are there any foods or diets that will help me grow? or am i done for? lol
    also, i have pretty short legs and a long torso. ive heard a few things about growing and the length of your legs, so that might be useful information lol.
